“What a delightful surprise when we arrived last Sunday to this beautiful ‘Sea Chalet’. We enjoyed every nook and cranny and loved the Pool, the hot tub, the pool room and the loft where we had surprise children’s face painting for our 4th of July party watching the fireworks over the lake. The kayaking was so cool. The ocean and beach were terrific. Weather was great, only one rainy day. Would come back here again anytime.” —July

Dinner Out Ideas:
TimbuckII ideas: Mike Dianna's Grill Room (Upscale, in back by racetrack). Take-out seafood to cook at home next to the putt-putt. Bad Bean Taqueria is fresh (Santa Fe style) and family friendly. FirstLight for breakfast and lunch. The eggs benedict are great and some tables have paper for kids to draw on while you drink your coffee!
Duck area: Roadside Bar and Grille (Have a meal of just appetizers and wine) Red Sky Café Drinks at Sunset: Fishbones Sunset Grille on Rt 12 (can also get wave runners here) Elegant Diner: Sanderling Inn (Amazing Spa Services), a new Tapas bar opened, haven’t tried near Harris Teeter. Let us know if it’s good to recommend.
Beers at the Currituck Golf Club grille room. Golf course is public (Clubhouse/Pro Shop 252-453-9400)
